Premier League 2019-2020 season starts in a few days that means a brand new season for Fantasy Premier League (FPL). FPL application has been launched a few weeks back and we are all excited in drafting our fresh new team. Even with creating the first team we can’t settle down with our own decision and so we start tweaking the team here and there. So here I’ve decided to share my thoughts on my First draft team in FPL – Made in Chennai.
To begin with the formation, I always fancy 3-4-3 and 4-4-2 formation mostly and it’s been successful most of the times. So for this season, I’ve decided to go with 3-4-3 at first few gameweeks.

In the case of Goalkeepers(Gks) I prefer to go with cheap options so that we could get more save points. Getting a premium keeper also worth a shot but can save a million with cheap options. So the Goalkeepers are  Matt Ryan and Tim Krul. Both experienced cheap gks rotate well and for starting gameweeks. Also being bottom finishers will get more save points.

In the case of defenders, I prefer to go with two premium defense and they are Liverpool and Man City, players. The third and the bench defenders will be from Everton, Aston Villa, and Sheffield United. As Everton have a kind run of fixtures in opening game-weeks will get positive points from them and I go with Coleman.  Aston Villa and Sheffield United games well rotate with Everton and so considering they can serve in some of the gameweek as well.

In the case of midfielders, There are two options either go for one premium mid and on premium forward or both premium midfielders. For me, the second option looks fancy and I took two premium midfielders from Man City and Liverpool, Sterling, and Salah respectively. Other three are Zaha, one who always threatens the defence. Etienne Capoue from Watford and Lanzini from West Ham. These two players can swap between the gameweeks.

In case of forwards, as I went for premium midfielders only option left will be budget forwards. So with good opening fixtures in mind taking a punt on Everton youngster Calvert Lewin. And the Brighton talisman Murray finally the Bournemouth Englishman Wilson. Hope these guys get a firing start at the start of the season.

So these are the player gets into the first draft, with pre-season going wild around there will be plenty of changes to the team before the deadline. So stay tuned on my twitter to get more updates @_sportNinja
